Playboy Presents Faces of Resilience: Peter Nunn, the Survivor

A survivor of conversion therapy, Peter Nunn today uses his experiences and resilience to inspire others and help enact legislation that’ll protect LGBTQ minors from the discredited practice of conversion therapy. His story is one of bravery, hope and love, and his strength while sharing it encapsulates the meaning of Pride.

Playboy magazine profiled six people—both survivors and LGBTQ activists, including Peter Nunn—who are working everyday to end the practice of conversion therapy in the U.S. The feature, “Faces of Resilience” appears in Playboy’s Summer 2019 quarterly, “On Gender and Sexuality.” These six brave people inspired Playboy to launch its PRIDE IS GOOD campaign in support of The Trevor Project’s 50 Bills 50 States campaign.
